Summary:The Fire Management Plan (FMP) has been developed to allow Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial (the Memorial) to manage it?s natural resources more efficiently and effectively through the use of prescribed fire. Wildland fire suppression is also a concern at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. Protection of structures as well as sensitive natural and cultural resources in the event of an unwanted wildland fire has long been a concern for the Memorial.
