Historic American Buildings Survey / Historic American Engineering Record Collection A selection of images and drawings from the Built in America site at the Library of Congress that represent structures that appear within park boundaries. Structures have been recognized for their architectural and/or engineering excellence. Parks include: Abraham Lincoln Birthplace, Acadia, Adams, Alcatraz, Aztec Ruins, Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, Fort McHenry, Hampton, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and Zion. Office of Communications and Public Affairs Photo Library Hundreds of images, many from the 1960s and 1970s, representing the best of the National Park Service. Images include scenic vistas, wildlife, buildings, recreational activities and rangers interacting with park visitors. Social Science Program Digital Collection Over 250 studies on visitor experiences at parks including visitation statistics, analysis of visitor impact on the local economy and visitor interaction with and impact on cultural and natural resources Submerged Resources Center Digital Collection 300 images of NPS underwater archeologists exploring sunken ships, marine life and more at over a dozen parks including Biscayne, Cape Cod, Channel Islands, Curecanti, Dry Tortugas, Ellis Island, Glacier, Isle Royale, Point Reyes, San Juan, USS Arizona, and Yellowstone. Midwest Region Map Catalog Finished map products from park units of the Midwest. The collection includes historical maps along with more recently completed maps. Maps range from regional to intrapark scale.
